POPATLAL SECONDARY SCHOOL (PSS) is the best school in Tanga region and one among the best schools in Tanzania as a whole. SCHOOL MANAGEMENT:
POPATLAL SECONDARY SCHOOL is currently under the management of Istiqaama Tanga.
The management started running the school since 2021 along the desired educational policies taking into account all aspects of the school making it into a fruitful whole.

CURRICULUM OFFERED:
POPATLAL SECONDARY SCHOOL offers the national curriculum, where students sit for national assessment examination to complete Form II (FTNA) and Certificate of Secondary Education Examination (CSEE) when they reach Form IV.
The national curriculm consists of various subjects such as Kiswahili, Civics, English Language, Geography, Basic mathematics, Physics, History, Biology, Book-keeping, Commerce, Elimu ya Dini ya Kiislamu(EDK), Chemistry, Literature in English, Information and Computer Studies (ICS) just to mention a few.
Form II National Assessment (FTNA) and Certificate of Secondary Education Examination (CSEE) are governed by the National examination Council of Tanzania (NECTA).
